Street Magic 2
To paraphrase Douglas Adams, this is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike street magic.
But that’s not my issue with this video… There’s no entertainment value. The script sound like he’s telling me how to do it, but it’s not one of those “false explanation” tricks which is sometimes entertaining. “This is a how to video”: How to take an AMAZING EFFECT like Red Hot Mama, and make it exceptionally boring. The patter droned on so much that I was almost happy when the ridiculously placed, horribly mixed soundtrack began.
Double lift get-ready was very clumsy. The double lift was the worst kind – unnaturally handling the cards. (Except something strange kind of happened…Because he was performing for the camera, that seems to be the right kind of double lift to show a camera. Odd, that.)
Incidentally, starting off a video saying “Hey how you doing, this is Scott…” is not a good idea. I couldn’t tell, but I thought you might be leaving a voice mail.

Rating: Two Milks and a Light Bulb. (the only reason this gets a Light Bulb is because of effect selection. Other than that it’s all Milk)
(Ratings are completely arbitrary, depending on whether or not she calls me back.)
