About

matt guitar stuffMatthew Bennett is a musician, music teacher, magician, writer, and a public speaker. His music appears on magic DVD’s such as Brent Braun’s “Decks, Lies, and Videotape” and “Bullseye”. His one-man theatrical production “The Essence of Magic” is a hit wherever performed, and he is currently working on his second show, “Altogether Matt.” His passion for entertainment and all things related is evident in his performances, whether it be musical, magical, or speaking to groups.

Matt has been in several bands, and started worship bands (rock style) at five churches in two states (Pennsylvania and Indiana). He spent several years on the road in a semi-pro country band opening for such stars as Charlie Daniels, John Berry, Restless Heart, and Victoria Shaw.

But, as Matt Likes to say about himself, “I guess that’s just how I make my money. That’s not what I’m doing with my life. I want to have an impact on the world. I want to inspire people to be great. I want to be a better person myself. I want you to be a better person. I want the world to be a better place. Influence is really the only power I have, and I want to use it effectively.”

The Book

The Book “Maximum Entertainment” by Ken Weber, is the best treatise on entertainment that I have ever read. It is helpful, and practical. It’s like a workbook on what to do and what not to do. It changed everything about my presentations, from my double lift to my script. And it made me look at life in an entirely different and better way. Although I have no affiliation with Ken Weber, it was his teaching and inspiration that led to the formation of this review site. Thanks, Ken!
